Rudolf Kvíz


Czech publicist, editor and reciter

He comes from a peasant family and trained as a steel smelter.
Until 1989, he worked as a publicist, especially as an editor of magazines of the Transport and Communications Publishing House in Prague, where he collaborated mainly with Vítězslav Houška. For years he has been a reciter and a judge of competitions. He has performed for the Viola, the Memorial of Literature, the Circle of Friends of Czech Culture in Bratislava, for the Church, and at classical music concerts (e.g. Prague Wind Quintet, Czech Nonet, Ensemble Martinů, Kühn Children’s Choir). He has appeared on many radio programs.
