Balázs Adorján studied cello in Hungary and Ireland.
Since 2000, when he became a member of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra (now PKF-Prague Philharmonia), he has lived in Prague. He began playing the viola da gamba in Prague and has attended several master classes on the instrument (Hille Perl, Marianne Muller, Michael Brüssing). He frequently collaborates with the baroque ensemble Motus Harmonicus.
