Public Transportation

Prague has an excellent transport system.

Metro lines operate from 5:00 till 24:00.
Night trams 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 operate 24:00 – 5:00. Central changing station for all night trams is Lazarská.

Ticket (90 minutes) 32 CZK
24-hour ticket 100 CZK
3-day ticket (72 hours) 330 CZK
5-day ticket (120 hours) 500 CZK

Note:

The tickets must be validated before you enter the metro or as soon as you get on a tram or a bus.

TAXI

Taxi stands can be found at the main train station, at the airport as well as outside the hotels and many tourist sites. Most Prague taxi drivers speak English. These are the official Prague taxi fares:

  • Boarding fee: Maximum CZK 40
  • Waiting: Maximum CZK 6 per minute
  • Ride in the region of Prague: Maximum CZK 28 per kilometer
