An accordionist, composer, singer and a lecturer of classical and experimental improvised music
Žaneta plays original music for experimental accordion. Her music is imbued with special sound-painting poetics that meander between quotidian occurrences and intense emotions. In her work, composed parts intertwine with free improvisation. While using extended techniques on her instrument, she draws her inspiration from European traditions as well as world music influences.
